Dr. Hernando B. Delizo is Chair and CEO of The Heathcare Business Development Partners Holdings, Inc.. He founded Mediserv in 1992 as a laboratory offering specialty tests to Doctors and clinics throughout the Philippines. He founded Clinica Manila in 1994, becoming the first comprehensive mall-based healthcare facility in the Philippines.

After 10 years of intuitive entrepreneurship, Dr. Delizo obtained his MBA degree at Ateneo Graduate School of Business in 2001 where he conceptualized and executed yet another pioneering venture in retirement-long term care services, Wellness Place Professional Care Homes. In 2006, he chaired the Philippines’ first Health and Wellness Tourism: The Next Frontier, showcasing the Philippines’ readiness towards becoming a significant player in the rapidly growing tourism subsector. He was invited to various medical tourism/travel conferences in Hawaii, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur to talk about Philippine initiatives, championing Quezon City’s thrust as health and wellness hub in the Philippines.

Dr Delizo is known as the “First Filipino Health Retailer in the Private Sector”, backed up by his outstanding credentials in various entrepreneurship ventures. Currently, he is President of Philippine Chamber of Commerce-Quezon City. Dr. Delizo still finds time to practice his specialty, Endocrinology and Geriatrics, at University of Santo Tomas and several HBD clinics. .
